Vernon L. "Johnny" Moore Jr.

Vernon (Johnny) L. Moore Jr., 46, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, Harrisburg. Johnny was employed by the Winding Hill Window Cleaning Company, Mechanicsburg.
His passion was drawing, painting, singing and dancing, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, video games, and SyFy movies, he was also a collector of Dragons. Surviving are his parents; Deborah L. Shank, of Mechanicsburg, and Vernon (John) L. Moore Sr., of Williams Grove, a daughter; Macaylee E. Moore, of Mechanicsburg, a brother, Paul A. Moore, of Williams Grove, and a sister, Lauren Casselberry, of Camp Hill, 5-Aunts; Barbara D. Stratmeyer of Boswell, Sandra D. Williams, of Enola, Pamela L. Bennett, of Mechanicsburg, Anna Hull, of ShermansDale, and Peg Shaffer, of Dillsburg, 3-Uncles; Bob Moore of Mechanicsburg, Jim Moore, of Middletown, and Elwood Hall, of Jackson, Ohio, and numerous Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Johnny was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Irene C. Peffer, and Lester C. Shank Sr., and Step Grandfather Clyde Peffer; Paternal Grandparents; Bobby Moore and Helen Hall, and Step Grandfather, Elwood Hall, Uncles; Lester (Chuck) C. Shank Jr., and Danny Moore. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
