Timothy Crider Obituary
Timothy Joseph Crider, 37, of Granite City, Ill., born June 21, 1979, in Houston, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, in Granite City, Ill.
Mr. Crider graduated from Granite City Senior High School in 1997. He loved and played hockey, was awarded several medals from swimming and diving at Paddlers Pool, was a very creative artist, loved animals, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan R. Crider.
Surviving are his mother, Beverly A. Crider of Granite City, Ill.; brothers, Matt (Clair) Crider of Edwardsville, Ill., and Andrew P. (Holly) Crider of Granite City, Ill.; and grandmother, Jackie Sparks of Granite City, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army and will be accepted at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.irwinchapel.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, in Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at Irwin Chapel with Rev. Rich Smallie officiating.

You are one of our heroes.
We will remember you always and miss you dearly.
Take your Warrior's rest for a duty well done.
I wish to extend to members of your family my deepest sympathy on their loss. May the force of GOD be with them as they walk through this difficult time. May the loving promises of our LORD and Savior comfort them and give them strength.

My Prayers are with the family. So sorry for your loss. I remember Tim when he was little always breaking his glasses almost every week. He was a sweet boy.
