McKEOWN John and the family of the late Betty McKeown would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind support and expressions of sympathy, also for the many cards, letters, flowers and phone calls received at this sad time. Special thanks to Barbara Maxwell, McMillan Nurse, Dr Lyndsay Martin Wigtown Surgery and the local district nurses for all their support and care. Special thanks also to Father Ben Lodge for his kind ministrations and great support and care to Betty, also for the lovely service at Our Lady & St Ninians and at Newton Stewart Cemetery. To the Creebridge House Hotel for the beautiful catering and excellent service. Also to Alex McCleary Funeral Directors and their staff for their comforting, caring and professional arrangements. Finally to everyone who kindly gave to the retiral collection at Bettys funeral for Marie Curie and McMillan Nurses. The amount received at present is £739.97. (This is being re-run due to an error of the Galloway Gazette).
