Elinor M. Parker

PARKER, ELINOR M., of Birmingham passed away on Friday, April 30, 2004 at the age of 89. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Eastern Star Boyles Chapter 104, member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church, the co-founder of Pinson Valley Heat Treating, Co. along with her deceased Thurman Almus "T.A." Parker. Many will remember Mr. and Mrs. Parker for their years of service with the youth at Central Baptist Church in Tarrant City. Survivors include daughter, Donis Parker Hendry and her husband, Jim; grandsons, Don Hendry and his wife, Janice, and Jeff Hendry and his wife, Mary Margaret; and four great granddaughters, Leigh Hendry, Molly Hendry, Margaret Anne Hendry, and Mary Winston Hendry. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel on Monday, May 3, 2004, from 5 PM until 7 PM with a funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, May 4, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rick Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow the service in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel is directing. <>
