Laura Beth Crump Peterson 1924 ~ 2005 BLUFFDALE--Laura Beth Crump Peterson , 80, our loving mom, grandma, sister, and special friend, passed away peacefully February 17, 2005. She was born March 16, 1924 in Bluffdale, Utah to Reynold Wilford and Myrtle Almira Frost Crump. On June 20, 1942 she married Russell Lloyd Peterson Sr. in Winnemucca, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 20, 1955. Russell preceded her in death in 1999. Laura Beth worked for the Salt Lake Telephone Company during World War II. She was a Charter Member of the Bluffdale Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was proud of earning her Real Estate Agent license. An active member of the LDS Church, she served in the Young Women Organization, as Relief Society President, and as a Visiting Teacher. She worked in the clothing department of the Jordan River LDS Temple and assisted in the Bride's Room. Her family marvels at the detailed journal Laura Beth kept, and enjoy reading it. Laura Beth helped write the Bluffdale City history and was an avid genealogist and did extraction work. Survivors: children, Linda (Gary) Nielsen, Michigan; Russell (Leslie) Peterson, Draper; Sharee (Rod) Forman, Herriman; John Peterson, California; Teresha, Idaho; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Norman "Slim" (Lois), Donna (Hank) Holmes, Vivian (Keith) Webb, Marlene (Maurice) Aston, Vesta Smith. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stan "Sid". Funeral services will be Monday, February 21, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bluffdale First Ward Chapel, 14400 S. 1700 W. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Sunday 5:00-7:30 p.m. or Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Bluffdale City Cemetery. Thanks to the Holladay Healthcare Center and their staff of caregivers, where many special relationships blossomed.
