We remember how friendly Octavio was, and how caring for his patients. He removed cataracts from Wirtley's mother, and was a compassionate physician and skilled surgeon. We extend our sympathy to the family.

En un momento como este es bueno saber que podemos contar con alguien. Ese alguien es muy poderoso y nos sirve de refugio como dice el Salmo 18:2. Qué Dios los guíe y proteja en un momento tan difícil.

Octavio was my Doctor, client and beloved friend. A kind, caring and extraordinarily capable Physician. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I will always remember how kind Dr. Carreno was to me when I was a new faculty member at BPEI and the very good care he took of his patients. He was a remarkable man and physician.

Dear Octavio: It has been such a privilege to have shared wonderful time as colleague and friend for so many years. I remember fondly the years when I was at Bascom Palmer and the last years at CAC. You were always a perfect gentleman and always smiling. You leave a great void not only for your family but all the people whose life you touched be it as a friend or physician. You are being sorely missed.
