of Tampa, a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the age of 94. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 29, at 11 am, at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 North Howard Avenue. The daughter of the late Eugene and Lila Dews, Odessa began her life journey Feb. 16, 1921 in Hollins, AL. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and received an education from the Clay County Public School System. In later years, Mrs. Robinson moved her family to Tampa, where she was employed as a Security Guard for 24 years prior to her retirement in August 2002. "Mrs. O", as she was affectionately known, touched numerous lives throughout her lifetime. Survivors include daughters, Shirley A. Turner, Jacqueline D. Battle, Sandra Cook (Lorenzo Cox); grands, and great-grands; a brother, Horace Dews; and a host of other relatives & sorrowing friends. Arrangements entrusted to RAY WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
