Ofelia Sanchez Obituary
Ofelia R. Sanchez passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the age of 87. She was born to Francisco and Rafaela R. Sanchez on April 30, 1930 in San Antonio, Tx. She is survived by her brother, Hipolito (Rudy) Sanchez.
Ofelia was first employed by Goodwill in February 1954 and retired from Goodwill after 30 years of service. Her hobbies included fishing and making flower arrangements.
Ofelia was a very loving, caring and compassionate person and generous to others in need.
Many thanks to her niece, Alma Esparza and nephew, Emilio Sanchez, staff from Legend Oaks NH and Embrace Hospice. Special thanks to Angela Garza, RN and Terry Untalan, LVN for their extraordinary care in her final hours.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Brookehill Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 9:15 for 10:00 am Mass at St. Philips of Jesus Catholic Church, 142 E. Lambert, SA, Tx. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.

Rudy,many nieces and nephews, our deepest condolences on the loss of Kela. Rob and I, especially Robert, have very nice memories of Kela, being neighbors for over 30 years. We will never forget her voice, especially how she would call us! She was very generous. Always went to garage sales so she can buy for others in Saltillo. I know she is very Happy being with her mother and her other brothers and sisters in heaven. RIP Kela. Love, Robert and Terri Rodriguez
