Words cannot express how much this wonderful woman has touched my life. Aunt Betty was the most loving, understanding, generous, patient, kind, dignified and level-headed person I have ever known. She was more than an Aunt; she was a teacher, a leader, a protector, a cheerleader, a voice of reason, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with, and a never-ending source of inspiration and encouragement. She made the gloomy days bright, and the bright days brighter. I've always described Aunt Betty as "living proof that there are angels on the Earth." There is one less angel on Earth, but now there is a new standard for Guardian Angels in Heaven. Aunt Betty was one of a kind; there will never be another; and I've been so blessed to have been loved by her.
