I had known Olivia for two years and Olivia and I went to Florida together in May on vacation. She was such a beautiful person. I felt like I could tell her anything and everything. I miss that. I think about her every single day and about her laugh and her smile. She and I had so much fun every time we would see each other. I know that the memories I shared with her will keep me strong. My heart goes out to the McGahee family. Stay strong and know that she touched so many lives.

I am so sorry for your loss McGahee family. I met Olivia in aftercare at PV, she was smart and funny and I instantly wanted to be her friend. Afterwards we lost touch a bit but she always managed to come back into my life, I saw her at a concert maybe a month or so before she passed and she seemed great. I will miss our talks because unlike many others her empathy made me feel as if she understood my plight and the plight of so many others. She was a great person and we will all miss her so much.

I met Olivia the night my brother died and was so impressed with her empathy and good sense, as well as the light in her soul, and her curiosity about everything it seemed. Even though we never talked again, and communicated only briefly on Facebook, I know she enriched my life. She was so young, and yet she touched the hearts and lives of so many people. She was truly a remarkable young woman.

Death always saddens me, but it saddens me even more when someone so young, that was such a spirit, dies so early. Although time is not our dominion (and as the old saying goes, only the good die young), I can't be left to wonder what wonderful things such a talent as you could have contributed to this life. Olivia McGahee, I met you two years ago on my very first day at gpc. You and I took the same communications class with prof Zigara. I still remember making jokes about narwhales and in general having fun with you in our group project. Your speeches about Niberu where interesting and your speech about your you journal was immersive. I remember taking astronomy 1 and 2 with you. You where very smart and was able to fully understand the subject at a level that most wouldn't. Having you as my lab partner was the best choice I could have made in that class. You where a blast to work with.
Our conversations outside of school about society where deep and thought provoking. the laughs we shared on the few days I drove you to school and home where fun. I may not have been your best friend but the impact I the same. You where truly a diamond in the rough. Your take on life and your personality where truly unique. The world will never get a chance to know you now. I'm glad I can say I did know you. My condolences to your family. RIP Olivia you where taken too soon.

We really didn't get to talk much after PV. I wish we had, you had such a beautiful soul, a beautiful smile. Everyone is so heartbroken by this loss.
