Oreanna "Ore" Carla Wall

Oreanna Carla Wall (Kapper), known affectionately as "Ore," passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024, four days after her 70th birthday, She was surrounded by family in her San Mateo home of 22 years. Born on November 5, 1954, in San Mateo, she spent most of her life there with cherished years in Hawaii, her mother's birthplace. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family and friends.

Ore led a fulfilling career spanning 50 years in the financial services sector, dedicating the last 41 years to UBS Financial Services in San Francisco. As the primary contact for one of the Bay Area's premier wealth management teams, she was revered for her unwavering dedication, warmth, and a client-first approach which endeared her to both colleagues and clients alike. Ore's professional legacy is marked by deep relationships built on trust and kindness, making her presence irreplaceable.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Eddie Kapper; three lovely children, Celeste, Natalie, and William; her precious granddaughter, Ramses Leilani (Lani); her sister, Cheyenne and nephews Parker, Christian, and Derek, along with many cousins in Hawaii. Ore was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Carl Wall.

Ore's personal life was filled with joy derived from her family, with whom she shared her favorite hobbies: reading, cooking, and sports. Her love story with Eddie began on a Caltrain commute, sparked by a shared passion for the San Francisco 49ers.

A viewing will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM on Sunday, November 24, at Skylawn Funeral Home, located on Route 35 at Hwy 92 in San Mateo. A celebration of Ore's life will follow the service, where friends, family, and colleagues will gather to honor her memory.
