Dear Danny and Becky, There are no words enough for what you are feeling, I'm sure. But I do want you to know we are thinking of you and yours during this time even though we can't be there... I know Mom and Ortence are telling all those crazy stories together like Lucy and Ethel. I will miss her.

Becky and Danny I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a good friend to my mom, she was so nice and always had a loving spirit. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you for sharing your mom with our neighborhood. My children especially will always carry fond memories of the grandma in the "castle-house" that always said Hi to them and had the best Halloween treats on the block. She will be missed greatly.

Danny & Becky, so sorry to hear about your mom. You know she was like a second mother to us kids growing up on Crane Ave. I have many fond memories of her and wish I could be at the service to share them with you. Unfortunately we are out of state for another week but my thoughts will be with you.

We will miss you, beautiful lady, whenever we meet at our San Andres Women's Society. You were always there to lend a hand.

Becky & Danny: I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. Ortenica and I became very good friends when we met at our church in Payson several years ago. She was a wonderful lady that I grew to love and value her advice. I am going to miss her. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to call.

Ortencia was such a knowledgeable, warm, welcoming presence in the St. Helena Children's Library. My children (now grown adults) and I were very fond of her and respected her greatly. My condolences to the family.

Ortencia was a dear and wonderful friend. A very sweet lady. I have sent a Mass card for her to the League of St. Anthony.
She will be remembered fondly at San Andres parish.
