Oscar Maynard "O.M.-Moe" Coward, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away January 14, 2019. He was a loving father and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Elsie Coward; wife, Charlotte Coward; sisters, Francis Morgan and Cleda Mullins. Survived by daughters, Rhonda Canhan (John), Angela Gwen Long, Stacy Nelson (David), Tonya Anthony, Celena Miller (Eric); sons, James Anthony and Shane Coward; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Coward; sister, Wanda Morgan (James) and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday at Weaver's chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, 9:15 am at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 9:30 am interment. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com.
