Owen Gunn Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice; two children, Betsy Hadi of Barrington and Owen E Gunn of Medford, Mass.; and four grandchildren, Dania Hadi and Samantha, Brittney and Danny Gunn.
A partner in the firm of Alger & Gunn Architects of Hyannis, he was a charter member of the Cape Cod Symphony and played trombone with many local music groups, the last as a charter member of the Ocean Bones.
There will be no formal services at this time.
Friends are asked, if they so desire, to make a contribution in his name to the Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860, which made his final months comfortable. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of its staff.

Our deepest sympathy to you, Alice. We were neighbors on Driftwood La. and enjoyed seeing you both walking frequently in the evening hours. It was always nice to stop and get to chat for a few minutes.

Alice, those who leave sweet memories live forever in our hearts. I will always remember Russ as an extremely kind man when I worked for him at Alger & Gunn while I went to Cape Cod Community College. I'll always remember you and Russ stopping to see me on your way through Alaska on the cruise. It meant a great deal to see you both. Take care and know your in my prayers. My deepest sympathies to Owen's family. I didn't know him personally, but I was in Girl Scouts & Rainbow Girls & knew Mrs. Gunn & Betsy,many years ago. May all of your fond memories of Owen help you through this difficult time. You're in my thoughts & prayers.

Russ was a great guy who gave me all sorts of encouragement and always had a smile on his face...even when bad notes came out of my trombone in the Barnstable Town Band. I always looked forward to seeing him, when I came back to play, just to hear him say "hey frankie". Russ was a big part of why I went into music, and still play or conduct town bands. I will miss him a lot.
