OWEN GUNTER
ROSEWOOD HEIGHTS — Owen J. Gunter, 2, passed away on Wednesday evening, May 31, 2017, at Children's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 12, 2015, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Jeffrey Gunter and Jessica Widdows Gunter. Survivors include his mother and stepfather: Jessica Gunter and Jordan Eades of Rosewood Heights, three sisters: Emma Eades, Lisa Gunter, Lily Gunter, two brothers: Cooper Gunter, Blake Gunter, his grandparents: Doug Widdows and his fiance' Mary Hall of Dorsey, Gary and Debbie Eades of Roxana, his great – grandmother: Ruth Ziegler of Bethalto, two aunts, two uncles, and many other family and friends who loved him dearly.
Owen was a resilient fighter who proved doctors wrong with his willingness to fight.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Sheri Widdows and Lisa Gunter.
Cremation rites will be accorded and private family services will be held.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Jordan Eades.
Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
