Owen Holmes Obituary
Owen Matthew Holmes, the precious son of Matthew and Lydia Holmes and grandson of Gary and Lori Holmes and Jack and Jane Kraemer was born to heaven on Monday, March 22nd, 2021. During his little life, Owen enjoyed dancing in his mom's stomach (his favorite time to wake up was 3:30 AM, much to his mother's delight...) and he loved napping during mom and dad's daily walks. Owen was very protective of his mom and always seemed to kick while others were touching her stomach (appropriate to his name's meaning of "young warrior"). Though his life was devastatingly short, Owen has impacted many, foremost his loving parents. We are thankful to Owen for making our marriage stronger and making it so we can look at each other and say, "I love you even more." We have set up a fund to honor Owen by supporting families and strengthening marriages who have experienced loss. Before being laid to rest in Wisconsin, there will be a visitation and short service in Owen's honor this Saturday, March 27th at 10:00 AM at RiverTree School (3733 Vera Cruz Ave. N, Crystal, MN 55422). The burial will take place next Saturday, April 3rd at 11:00 AM at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha WI - 605 S Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186.

I will never forget how absolutely happy and beautiful you looked when you finally told us about being pregnant with Owen, when you were 7 months along!!!! We were all so happy and excited for you at OLP and now we are all so very sad with the devastating loss of your beautiful baby boy.....please know we love you and are here for you and are praying for you and your family!
