I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Owen's service. He was a good and decent man and I have many fond memories of times together. If any member of the family wishes to give me an address, I'd be delighted to offer a more detailed comment on the kind of man Owen was and why he was held in affection and esteem by many people. Please accept my condolence in the loss of your Father. My late husband Don worked with him at POG, and we visited many times with your Mother and Dad when you were little children. My thought and prayers are with you.

My sympathies to all the family!! I loved hearing Uncle Owen's many stories...he sure led an interesting life!!

Uncle Owen was quite a man...one in a million...who would do and accomplish what he did!! He never gave up but kept going and blessed many on his travels. My thoughts and prayers are with his children and grand-children.

Uncle Owen was well loved and I know you'll miss your Dad so much. He was a wonderful uncle with so many stories...he was a loving brother to our mom, your Aunt Ruth...now they are together once again...as he is with your mom...probably playing golf. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...

So sorry to hear of your loss. Owen had a heart of gold, and always had a great story to tell. I last ran into Owen as he was getting ready to head back to New Zealand for a visit, and we compared traveling stories concerning the "Land of the Long White Cloud"
