To ,family members of Paavo , Just to let you know. Was like losing a brother after, spending all our time together awhile in the service , from boot camp ,till our discharge , although we may not have seen each other as often as we wood liked to,when we did it felt like had missed that much time apart , He will,surely be missed by all , Good bye to a special friend who will never be forgotten

Paavo´s smile lit up the room. My husband Mike met him at Esco and they remained friends for many years. I was sorry to learn of his passing. Sending my condolences to Jeannie and family.

I was so happy to see Esa and Jeannie at my dads memorial last summer. It had been decades but I immediately recognized their smiling faces. I have really sweet memories of their house (yard and sauna) and skiing at Timberline when I was a kid. I loved hearing stories about my dad and his friends in their youth. Really beautiful memories with Esa and Pekka featured often. I´m so sorry for this loss.

The family historian, keeper of mementos and story teller bar none. A good friend to so many. His being was a light in our lives.

Condolences to us all. Wonderful Uncle to my children, Lynn, Sheryl, and Mikko. Always supportive to me in so many ways. Many memories back to children at Messiah, later at Jefferson, and with family. He will be missed.

Esa was a delightful fellow. he will be missed by all that knew him. So sorry for your loss. RIP Esa
