William Penn said "if there is any good that I can do, let me do it now for I shall not pass this way again." That so sums up Pam for me. There was never a moment when she wasn't helping or encouraging those around her.I never saw her without a smile on her face, no matter what she was facing. She was an example of how we should live each day. DO the best you can and MAKE a positive impact on those around you. She was a woman of great faith and I am blessed to have known her. My prayers are with you this week and always.

You are in our prayers. Pam was my daughter Kallie's first soccer coach. She was always so positive, patient, and encouraging. It was our first time to play sports and she made it a great experience. She made this a special time for all of us. We will continue to pray for all of you.

I never had the pleasure to meet Pam nor her family, but I started praying for Pam upon seeing a sign in Longview in someone's yard on my way to work over 1-1/2 years ago asking people to pray for Pam. At the time, my beloved aunt was also fighting cancer and I forward the web-site to her. My aunt told me many times prior to her death in January of this year that Pam blessed her with her writings. Pam's writing blessed me also. I have followed Pam's fight to beat her disease through that web-site. Pam fought a most courageous fight and I admire her for her love of God through it all, the bad times and the good times. Pam has gone on now to serve as an angel for all of us left here on earth. I am sure that Pam and my aunt are celebrating in heaven today. May God comfort the Pope family during this time of loss.

MY FIRST MEETING OF PAM WAS AT HEALTHFOCUS IN DALLAS WHEN I WAS JUST AN OT STUDENT AT TWU. LITTLE DID I KNOW OUR PATHS WOULD CROSS AGAIN WHEN I LATER MOVED TO LONGVIEW AND CAME TO WORK ALONGSIDE PAM AGAIN WHEN I FINISHED MY OT DEGREE. I'LL NEVER FORGET HOW SURPRISED WE BOTH WERE WHEN WE MET AGAIN AT A GOOD SHEPHERD CHRISTMAS PARTY. HER TENACITY AND BUBBLY PERSONALITY WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. My first contact with Pam was when her son Alex joined Champion Aquatic Team a few years ago. Immediately, I was impressed by her quick smile, upbeat demeanor and can do attitude. I've had the priviledge of coaching some amazing kids and dutiful parents over the years, but Pam and the Pope family were amazing. If something for the team needed to be done, Pam was always the first to dive into the fray and get things done. Even when her son decided to focus on other endeavors, Pam kept in contact and was always asking about specific kids and how the team was doing as a whole. I cannot begin to tell you how much her phone calls, emails and ever ready smile meant to an old swim coach. It is with a heavy heart when I say for the entire CAT team "Thank you Pam! Thank you for your caring, your support and your loving family. You will be forever in our hearts and never far from our thoughts". Our love, prayers and best wishes go to Bill, Danny, Alex and Reilly.
