Pamela A. (Brooks) Frye, 54, of Newburgh, passed away, Tuesday September 14, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital. Pamela was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and family was very important to her. She worked in dietary at St. Mary's Medical Center, and Gertha's Nursing Home and later was supervisor at the Ramada Inn. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She had a love for interior design and enjoyed displaying her large array of Christmas decorations and was awarded first place several years. She is survived by her daughter Felecia Johnson, of Evansville, longtime companion Chester C.C. Cheaney, of Evansville, father, Gailespa Brooks, of Evansville, sisters; Constance Sutton, of Indianapolis, IN, Nita Sims and husband Kenneth, of Glenwood, IL, Starla Crowe, of Owensboro, KY, brother, La Blount Brooks of Indianapolis, IN, nieces and nephews; Carla Sutton, Brandon Finch, Stephan Finch, Eric B. Crowe, Kyra Sims, La Kayla Crowe. Also surviving are step brothers and sisters, and step nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends Pamela is preceded in death by her mother Lucy Brooks, and Leonard Frye. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with Rev. Rabon Turner and Rev. W.R.
