Pamela Hardy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 30, 2009.
Pamela Ann Behrendt Hardy 1955 ~ 2009 All our love, now and forever…Pamela Ann Hardy, our wife, momma, sister, and best friend, died peacefully at home on Friday, Oct. 30. Her ability to love and care for those around her in spite of the difficulty and pain of inflammatory breast cancer will truly be cherished. Pam married her true love and best friend, Brent, on September 21, 1973. Her life revolved around her husband, children, and grandchildren, to which she leaves memories of a strong sense of humor and the everlasting advantages of unconditional love. She worked in multiple roles for Kmart Corporation and then Smith’s Food and Drug since 1988, where she made many friends. She is survived by her husband, Brent, daughters Dusty (Murray) Triplett, Lisa (Bret) Warr, Casey (Wes Franson), Hailey, son Doug, and 6 grandchildren. Also, sisters Sherry (Dee) Gamble, Bonny Guill, and Lynn (Bruce) Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Merkey and Robert (Bob) Behrendt. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3rd from 6 – 8 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends and family are invited to attend. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 11 AM at the mortuary, with a viewing prior to services at 10 AM. On her behalf, the family would like to thank the co-workers and friends she made at Smith’s, the Carter family, Jordan Valley Hospital, IHC Hospice Services, and the many friends who prayed and cared for her. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to cover medical and funeral expenses are being taken at America First – Pam Hardy Memorial Account. An ongoing obituary will be maintained at www.memorialutah.com.
