Pamela Luckett Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2012.
Pamela Antionette Luckett was born to the union of Henry "Jack" Luckett and Mamie P. Luckett on July 23, 1965. Unto this union two other children were born, Diane Luckett and Tiffeny Tolefree. Pamela Luckett received Christ at an early age. She attended Christ the King Baptist Church. Pamela attended MPS schools and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1983. She also attended MATC to further her career. Pamela was employed at At&T for several years. She later worked as a caregiver at Primrose Adult Group Home. In 1996, Pamela gave birth to a handsome son, Derek Jones. Pamela Luckett was a very loving, caring, thoughtful, and giving person. She was a baby-sitter for many of the children who grew up in the neighborhood. Pamela would feed them; spoil them, and share her knowledge with all of them. Until her final days, these grown-up children, would still come around to her home, call her for advice, laugh, joke with her, and just sit on the porch to keep her company. Pamela Antionette Luckett departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Mamie Luckett; grandmothers, Callie Luckett and Ruby Mitchell; grandfathers, Rogers Luckett and Willie Lewis; aunts, Hattie Luckett and Annie Ruth Luckett; and uncle, Robert Luckett. Pamela leaves to cherish her memories: her only child, Derek Jones; father, Henry Luckett; two sisters, Diane Luckett and Tiffeny Tolefree; two nieces, Kiara and Kiana Tolefree; two nephews, Gary Joseph, Jr. and Cameron Tolefree; a host of many other loving relatives and friends.
