Pamela Jo Staton, 62, of Stony Point, NC, passed away Friday November 26, 2021, at her residence in Stony Point. Pamela was born March 30, 1959, in South Williamson, KY, to the late Edward "Ed" Hughes and Bessie Blackburn Hughes. Pamela is also preceded in death by her son, Darrell Edward Staton. Pamela was a homemaker and was of the Freewill Baptist faith, Pamela loved the Lord. Pamela loved her family, they were everything to her, especially her grandkids, her pride and joy.
Pamela is survived by her children, Tony (Misty) Staton of Pikeville, KY, Amanda (Jonathan Coffey) Staton of Taylorville, NC, Chris (Whitney) Staton of Pikeville, KY, and Kaitlyn Staton of Stony Point, NC. Pamela is also survived by her sister, Vickie Justus of Sidney, KY, her brother, Eddie Hughes of Sidney, KY, her grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Paxton Staton, Kylee Brown, Landon Staton, and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday December 2, 2021, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Tuesday and Wednesday night at the funeral home with special services at 7 PM Wednesday night. R. E. Rogers Funreal Home of Belfry, KY, is serving the Staton family.
