Pamela VanHoose Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 16, 2025.
Pamela Marie VanHoose, 59, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, passed away on February 11, 2025. Pam was a woman of immense strength, boundless kindness, and an unforgettable sense of humor. She touched countless lives with her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for her family and community.

Pam's entrepreneurial spirit led her to own multiple consignment shops over the years, but she found her true passion in the kitchen. As the proud owner of Pineapple Pam's, a local favorite restaurant, she shared her love of cooking with friends, family, and the community she cherished. Whether she was whipping up a meal for loved ones or welcoming guests into her restaurant, Pam had a way of making everyone feel at home.

Above all, Pam was devoted to her family. She is survived by her spouse, Myron Young; her daughter, Stephanie Robinson; her son, Joshua VanHoose, and his wife, Kendra VanHoose; and her adored grandchildren, Kinsley and Ty, who were the light of her life. She was a fierce and protective mother, a doting and proud grandmother, and a loyal friend to many.

Pam's presence was larger than life-her laughter filled every room, her wisdom was sought after, and her kindness knew no bounds. She had a way of lifting people up, whether through a well-timed joke, a comforting meal, or a heartfelt conversation. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and generosity that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

While Pam's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever be felt in the meals she taught us to cook, the lessons she imparted, and the love she so freely gave. May we honor her memory by carrying forward her kindness, strength, and passion for life.

A celebration of Pam's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a meal with someone you love-just as Pam would have wanted.
