Parker Ernest Plumb

Parker Ernest Plumb, age 64, of Winchester, VA, passed away at home surrounded by family on April 25, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Cathy, his two children, Candice and Alex, his granddaughter Britney, his brother Mike and countless friends.

Parker grew up in Southern VA and graduated from Radford University. From Covington to Winchester, his career in building supplies led him to positions in stores throughout Virginia and West Virginia. His passions for drag racing, hunting, and fishing fostered close family relationships and many lifelong friendships. He was an avid fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Baltimore Orioles, He was a Chevy man and enjoyed NASCAR because of Dale Earnhardt Sr. Parker's loyalty, integrity, and love of family was noted by all.

He lived life to the fullest. Despite the many challenges he faced near the end of his life, his fight for life never diminished. Parker kept a strong positive outlook, was resilient and never gave in to hopelessness or despair. He will be forever loved and forever remembered.

Join us in celebrating Parker's life at Opequon Presbyterian Church in Winchester, VA on Saturday, May 25th, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Blue Ridge Hospice in Parker's memory.
