"P.T." was one of the first law enforcement officers I met when I began work at Orange County many, many years ago. He always had a smile and a joke to tell.

The people of Orange County have lost a great friend and advocate.

"P.T." will be missed.

I didn't know Parker personally. When I visualize him all I see is a cowboy hat sitting atop his head as he passed by in his car. But my family was touched by him in his coming and goings, doing his work, making sure all was well with them. It seems his compassion had a way of doing that. He was a "character" of sorts that touched many lives in varying degrees throughout our community and some will not realize the depth of his life until his gift is needed once more. I grieve his passing with all that I am and wish there were others like him out there watching out for us all.

Thank you, Parker Thompson for all your care and your all seeing eye from the heart.

Parker was a good friend to me. In many times there was trouble at Gary's Cafe on grave yards, I could depend on him to help me with them. I will surely miss him.
May he find Peace Now.

P.T. was a great person and friend to me and my family. If i ever needed Parker he was always there. I know there were many times that P.T. had to deal with, things as a peace officer that were hard to swallow. Most people don't realize how tuff that job is. It's just not serving papers, it's more to it than that. P.T served his job and the people of his pct., with loyalty, honor, valour and dignity. So to me he was more than just a friend. In my prayers

Law Enforcement and Texas lost a good man. I remember when my brother died, Parker, lead the funeral procession and stayed at Hillcreast until the last car left.
When a man grew tired of waiting for the procession to end, the man sped pass the cars and hearse going 70 miles an hour, next thing you saw was Parker turning on his lights, stopping the man and giving him a lesson on courtesy and compassion. That was Parker. He cared and expected respect in all of us.
