Parthenopi Papadopoulos Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 30, 2018.
Bertha Papadopoulos was born in a lovely city in northern Greece. Bertha ascended to the pearly gates of heaven on December 27th, 2018. Bertha's one and only true love was her husband John . They did everything together and enjoyed every single experience that life had to offer. Bertha is survived by her husband, daughter, son, grandchildren, and a number of loving relatives and close friends. Bertha was 12 years old when she moved to the US with her mom. She graduated business school and started her career. At the age of 18, she and her mother became home owners. These two powerful women, against all odds were able to hold down a mortgage and expenses of daily living on their own. This was the beginning of the many challenges that Bertha took on with success. John and Bertha started a leather goods business which consisted of three stores throughout greater New York area. Over the years John and Bertha developed beautiful friendships with many of their customers. The list is endless and the people who walked in and out of the doors of Boutique 7 shall always be a big part of their lives. So many fond memories of the experiences that was shared with their friends and customers.

A consummate mother, business owner and homemaker, Bertha was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Over the years Bertha and John entertain ed hundreds of guests. One of their greatest joys and passions was bringing people together and enjoying the company of their beloved friends and family.

When she entered a room, it would light up with her smile and warm greetings. Bertha always had a kind word to say, for this people were drawn to her for advice. She always asked how you and your family were doing and if anything new was happening in your life. Bertha's connection with her friends and family was an important part of her life.

Bertha was a big believer in God. God was always present in her heart and in the things that she did. The Lord is her Shepherd. Her mom would read the Bible to her every single day as a child. She would look forward to their daily Bible reading.

John and Bertha vacationed in beautiful countries and were blessed with many beautiful memories during their travels. Bertha has now embarked on her own journey and we will always remember the happiness of her presence.
