To Mr. and Mrs. Nudo, Charlie and Marianne,
It is hard to put into words the loss we are feeling. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for always welcoming and opening your home to us. You are our family and we are so sorry for your loss. May the Lord grant you strength and courage.
Lino was a great friend who always kept us laughing. His eyes spoke volumes and his smile brightened up a room. We miss him dearly. To think of days without him is overwhelming. We are fortunate however to have shared wonderful times with him and your family, and these will last a lifetime.
The song Silent Lucidity from Queensryche (one we know Lino enjoyed) quickly comes to our minds when we think of Lino. We know he is “smiling next to us in silent lucidity”. We love you Lino…

As I read the words of all those who knew you, it makes me understand just how special you were as a person. You were not just my first cousin; you were my "brother". Today I think about how close our family has been; growing up together... pictures of my childhood are the memories of our bond. We were blessed to grow up in a loving family and although we did not always utter the most "affectionate" of words....the bond was undeniable.
Everyone always remembers something specific or holds on to some wonderful memory shared; I guess I have too many to list! Your love for music was one of our usual topics of conversation.. countless concerts especially Kiss with my sister and Bart and our last rock concert together Rock Star Supernova where you proceeded to make quacky remarks about everyone! Yesterday, my sister nd I heard November Rain by GNR and on instinct we both said "Lino". There will never be a hiding place for memories.
I'll miss the little things we sometimes take for granted because we always think there is enough time to get to it later. I'll miss your calls to my office "just because" and the way I always knew you'd be calling to use my "connections" for tickets to shows! I'll miss the crazy schemes you'd come up with to fool my mom or your way of holding your finger down on the doorbell and not letting up until one of us opened up. The words on this page can only mirror sentiments we feel...my emotions speak for my sister too; the two of you shared alot together; my mom and our grandfather... when I say that it will hurt for a long time missing you. I know you are with Nonna now; two angels smiling down on us.
To my aunt and uncle (my second parents) and to Charlie and Marianne; it might be difficult to understand God's Plan , but always BELIEVE that as short as his time was on this earth, Lino was a part of our lives for a reason...he will always be in our hearts and our thoughts forever.
Love

Dear Lino,
I will forever be grateful for having met you. I keep great memories, specially those made at the "famous European trip 2001". Although you've gone away way before your time, you have left a great impact on all our lives.
To the Nudo Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times. Surely Lino is sending you courage to cope with this loss...'cause that's just the kind of guy he is...
RIP Lino, Later

I will never get tired of saying how privileged and honoured I am to have known and been with Lino. He was exactly the man I had dreamt of all my life. He treated me like a queen and gave me everything I have ever wanted which is simply to be loved. It was effortless and easy to reciprocate and love him back because he was a remarkable human being… loving, caring, thoughtful, generous, witty, funny and incredibly handsome!
He had become my “vitamin”… his energy and enthusiasm were contagious! He changed my life, enriched it and made me a better person. He taught me not to worry so much and made me a happier and more serene human being. I understand now that it is the quality of time you spend with a person that makes a difference and not the quantity. And quality we had!
Reading everyone’s messages makes me a little envious… I would have loved to have had tons and tons of memories with Lino like you all had. Unfortunately, I only have a handful of memories which I hang on to dearly and replay over and over again in my head. All of them precious and sweet just like he was.
To Lino's family, thank you. Your warmth and kind words comforted me. You are truly amazing.
Lino, you always called me the teacher… but you were the teacher babe! Thank you for all that you shared with me. Just before you left that Sunday morning, I told you that you made my heart smile… it still is… my eyes are crying but my heart is smiling just because you will always have a special place in my heart.
I miss you immensely!

Lino; thank you for having been a part of my life. I will never forget the day I met you and Bart. It felt like I knew you guys forever. What I will miss most about you buddy are those two hour talks we used to have in the parking lot after a softball game. We spoke about everything under the sun, and then some. That was our “Field of Dreams”. I’ll never forget those summer nights and I will never forget you.
To the Nudo Family,
After reading the messages posted in this guestbook, you can see the deep and profound effect Lino had on the lives of people who knew him. It is with these heart felt thoughts and tributes that Lino’s memory will live on for a long time to come.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Lino, he was my best friend and in my eyes like a brother I never had. You left us too soon and if I had one last chance to tell you something i would say thank you. Thank you for your friendship. Friends like you are hard to find. We had a lifetime of good times together and they will never be forgotten. I am having a hard time writing this because it is still hard to believe your gone. With the tears rolling down my face I just want to say that I love you, you will always be in my heart.
To Lino's family I just want to say my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of mourning. If there is anything you need, I will be there for you all.

To the Nudo Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God guide you through this difficult time.
I have only good memories of Lino from when we first met in high school. We had recently played on the same softball team and I recall how much he enjoyed the game.
I still use the same set of golf clubs you sold me, so I`ll think of you every time I slice left.
RIP Lino.

Lino the last few days I have felt nothing but numbness. I tried to put on a brave face and not be swept by the outpouring of emotions, but today the impact of your loss as finally dawned on me. It’s been a little over a week since we last spoke and I realize I won’t be receiving any more phones calls and it hurts, it hurts real badly. You provided me with a lifetime of memories and as I'm writing this message I’m reminded of all those great moments. The memories are so thick and vibrant that I’m reliving each and every instant. Your time with us was too short, but boy was it full. Vacations, movies, weekend retreats, BBQ’s at your parent’s home, the Halloween party, the New Years Eve parties, Sunday’s at the beach, Little Italy, Thursday’s Bar, ball hockey, hockey pools, the Expos, the 49ers, Rock Pile, our European odyssey or just going for a drive. You can’t imagine how precious these memories are to me.
I always told you Lino, that you’re the most courageous person I know. You faced so many challenges and you always overcame them. You taught me so much about enjoying the moment and fulfilling as many wishes as possible. I understand. Every moment with you was so enriching. We were really like an old married couple. Even when we bickered, it was all good, most of the time we were putting up a shtick for our friends. Laughter was our strength. I never quite put it in these words, seldom do we, but your friendship is so dear to me; it’s such a deep emotion.
You’re my best friend Lino and I love you very much. You’ll always have a place within my heart.

To Lino & his family:
Lino was an amazing person who had had lots to give. You always made everyone laugh and were always there to help out. I never forget what Lino would always tell me: Marylou you are such a hard worker and I never met anyone that loved to work like you did. Lino always had something good to say to me. He was friends with everyone and brought joy to us all.
Lino, I wish you were still here and I'm really angry and sad that you left us so soon. May you RIP and be happy where you are now.

Hey Pnu,
I presume that you have already started "playing poker with the man upstairs." I have to admit that I am very saddened and quite angry about your tragic death. You were not supposed to go so soon. I can't thank you enough for your help in installing my TV's and all those times you made me laugh. I will never forget the last words we said to each other..."Don't sweat the small stuff." Your wisdom and humor will never be forgotten. I miss you a lot Lino, you were a great guy.
