So sorry to find out about Pat's death. I'm one of her cousins, my mother and her father were siblings. I believe the last time I saw her was at her wedding when I was a very little girl. I always remembered how pretty she was. Sorry I never got to know her better. Please accept our sympathies.

I just found out today about the loss of my dear friend Pat whom I have known for many years. She had so many pearls of wisdom and was like a mother to me. My heart is broken that I didn't know sooner, but if I know Pat, she is dancing a polka in heaven. Bridget, Jill and family, I am so sorry for your loss - my thoughts and prayers are with you. My memories of Pat go back to when she lived in Bellwood and we all belonged to our monthly "Mother's Club". We took turns at each other's homes. Sorry to say I have not seen her in years but she and our memories will remain in our hearts. Prayers & condolences to you all.

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Pat. She was a dear and funny lady with a good heart and soul who we shared many laughs with at the Golden Autumn. Jim and I shared many jokes with her as did my mom and dad ( Kevin and Rita ). Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat's family.

Dear Jill, Bridget & Family;
I just can’t believe it that she gone. She has been a great and true friend to me and I will miss her very much. I had a lot of fun with your mom picking her up going to the Polka dances and the festivals. She was like adopted mom to me. She told me that I like a daughter to her. I will miss her smile and laugh. Maryjo and I and your mom we had a great time together we laugh so such.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I came into this family unconditionally and Pat was my cousin and best friend. I learned as a young boy from Georgia the Italian/Polish language as well as many other things under Pat's directiion. I know you girls have lost a mother and I am so sorry that Pat could not last forever and I still believe she may be hiding at some Polka dance waiting for us with a laugh. My family has lost a very special person. Our love and sympathy goes out to everyone that Pat touched. Doug and Carolyn

I heard the news of Pat's death from my friend Al Janik this morning. I haven't seen or spoken to Pat for many years but have the greatest memories of the times we worked and played together at the Golden Autumn. My mom and dad were owners there and Pat was a fixture, full of life, love and laughter. As my mind races through those times I only have positive thoughts and recollections. I regret now knowing of her journeys to the Polkafest in Wisconsin because I would have made it a point to be there, like her, with bells on. My deepest condolences to those of you who will miss the routine pleasure of her company. I have truly missed that connection over the years but today revel in her life and legacy. Thanks Pat - live on!

Pat always told me that she loved me like I was one of her children and I always felt that. I will remember her for making me laugh when I felt I could not, and I will remember her giving nature. She will be missed greatly.

My mother asked me to sign this guest book for her. She won't be able to make the funeral but wanted to share these thoughts: "We started 40 years ago at the Golden Autumn restaurant. My oh my that 40 years has been tons of laughs and tons of fun and tons of polka parties. I'll never EVER forget her. Thanks for being a part of my life all these years."

Dearest Bridget and the entire family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Deepest sympathy to all of you for this loss. I know she must have been a wonderful woman to have raised such a wonderful woman!! That is the legacy that you are carrying on with your own parenting of your children. Be blessed in the knowledge that you are loved and prayed for by many. Let that be your strength in the future.

I wish we could have one more conversation together, I wish we could have one more I love you, I wish we could share one more pizza with ricotta. You taught me that life is not a dress rehearsal and that today is the only guarantee we have. You loved me unconditionally, I will always feel your love. My heart is breaking and I miss you so much. Words cannot express the sorrow I am feeling over the loss of my best friend. The memories and the life lessons she taught me will remain in my heart forever! It is not often in life that you find someone who can finish your sentences, knows exactly what you are thinking and loves you unconditionally.
I am so grateful that the last several years we were able to spend many days together.
Pat had no regrets........she had the best family ever, wonderful friends and many wonderful memories.
In Pat's words, "she lead a charmed life." She lived everyday to the fullest and that is the most important lesson she taught me.
I love you and will miss you my dear friend.

Jill, Bridget and the entire family, we both wish to express our sincerest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Someone so special......can never be forgotten. May the love of those around you, help you through the days ahead. Thinking of You with Sympathy
