Pat Bond, 74, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on August 18, 2024 from cancer. Pat was born on February 23, 1950 in Richmond, VA to James and Amelia Cason. Shortly thereafter, the family settled in Winter Park, where Pat made lifelong friends, spent her growing up years playing tennis and other sports, then graduated from Winter Park High School in 1968. After attending North Florida College, Pat returned to Central Florida, worked at Walt Disney World then TRW, where she met the love of her life and beloved husband, Allen Bond of 43 years.

Pat was known for her strong will, outgoing personality, benevolence and support for her family and those in her community. In 1990 she founded Palm Tree Properties Inc. in Ocoee, Florida and began her fulfilling and rewarding career as a realtor in West Orange County. During her 34-year career, she helped multiple generations of families achieve their dreams of owning their own homes. She devoted 12 years serving The Planning and Zoning Commission of Ocoee, ending as chairman; served on Ocoee's Equity Study Commission, and The Merit System Board. She also was a member of the Board of Realtors and the Ocoee's and Orlando's Chamber of Commerce.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Al, her sisters: Judy Miller (Roscoe Miller), De-De Stupp (Rick Stupp); nieces: Brenda Walton (Quentin), Meg Alexios; and nephews: Brett Miller (Vashia Miller), Clint Keller (Virginia Keller), Tony Hesler; and numerous nieces-in- law and nephews-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Cason and Amelia Cason Hare.

So sad to read this. I saw her husband and he told me she was sick. This has really caught me off guard. She was really a blessing to everyone.
