The family of the late Pat Ryan would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all of those who sympathised with them on their recent sudden and sad bereavement. We offer many thanks to those who called to the house, those who attended the prayer service, removal, the funeral Mass and burial. We extend a special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances. To those who telephoned the house, sent Mass cards, flowers, letters and messages of sympathy and conveyed their sympathies through social media, your kind words were very much appreciated. To our neighbours, friends and family who brought food and assisted us in so many ways, we thank you sincerely. A special word of thanks to Mr. John McMahon, Funeral Director, whose wisdom and kindness were invaluable. To Fathers Kevin Donohue and Anthony Fagan and all the clergy who concelebrated the funeral Mass with touching words on Pat's life, we extend our sincere gratitude. To those who participated in the various guards' of honour including Cavan Gaels GFC, County Cavan Golf Club, Cavan Chess Club, Community Games, the staff and students of Saint Felim's National School and the Irish National Teachers Organisation, your presence was very much appreciated. To Sergeant Joe O'Connor and his colleagues in An Garda Siochana who orchestrated the traffic management, we are much obliged for your assistance. Many thanks to Eileen Tackney and Martina Lee who provided the beautiful music and singing at the Funeral Mass. To Michael Reilly who greatly assisted in organising his final resting place and to the gravediggers who prepared his final place of rest, we are very grateful. We would further like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Eamonn McDwyer and staff, Dr. Hanna and the Staff of Cavan General Hospital and in particular the Staff of St. Vincent's Ward in the Mater Hospital. We will never forget the care he received during his short illness. We wish to thank the staff of the Kilmore Hotel who provided beautiful refreshments and lunch. As it would be impossible to individually thank everybody who assisted and comforted us we hope that this acknowledgement would be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. Pat's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Saturday the 15th of September at 12.30 p. m.
