My first memory of (grandma) Trish was the day I met her at a shoe store in Grand Junction, CO. I was going through a rough time in my life and for some reason the day I met her I broke down in tears and opened up to her. That day forward we got close. I still have her letters, every letter, she gave to me. Including one she wrote about the day we met. I lost contact with her August 2021 and always wondered what happened. February of this year I found out of her passing. I will always love her. Because of her I grew stronger in Christ, because of her I am a strong woman. She taught me that if you´re going to cry, cry it all out but don´t cry for the same thing twice. Give it to God.
I love you grandma trish

Patricia was very proud of the many roses that she grew in Colorado. I am sure they were beautiful and that they gave her a lot of joy.

Patricia shared her life with me as we visited many times. She was a very remarkable "prayer warrior", and I was so impressed when she would offer a prayer. In visiting about teaching she enjoyed talking about the elementary students she taught. During out visits she never mentioned teaching at Colorado Christian University. No doubt she was a very real blessing to the University.

Sending sympathy to my cousins and their families after finding out today that Aunt Pat has passed from this world. I feel sad at the loss but since Aunt Pat trusted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour, I believe there is great rejoicing in heaven and that she is now truly alive and at peace.
Aunt Pat was a gifted person--homemaker, teacher, musician, gardener, prayer warrior, artist (I still have a painting she made me 50 years ago)—and she shared her time and talents with her family, community and church. Growing up, I saw her family in Houston and on vacations to the farm. Later when Kevin, David and I traveled, Aunt Pat welcomed us into her home in Illinois, Arizona and Colorado where we enjoyed meals & her antiques, attended her church and admired her garden; she loved roses!
Aunt Pat valued family connections so in 2010 she hosted the McAllister Reunion in Grand Junction (CO). I last saw Aunt Pat at the Quincy reunion in 2013 but she continued to pray for our family & ministry long after that. Thanks be to God for the life of Patricia (McAllister) Alden!

My sincere condolences to Trish family. I worked with Trish @ Homestead as a counselor and found her to be a kind and caring person with both other residents of Homestead and staff. Trish was very open about her love for her family. Heaven has another angel to care for their roses.

Patricia was an active, intelligent, and caring person. She loved her cat along with her family. Included with all her rose growing and teaching, she was a prayer warrior. It was an honor to have known and worked with "Trish" at Homestead Assisted Living, as one of the Chaplains.
