Having just learned of your tragic passing, it is with great sadness that I write this. Though it has been 40 years since we parted, I'll always hold the pleasant memories of my first love in a very special place in my heart. I look back to your prom....your high school graduation....our time at Delaware as irreplaceable memories.

I have been away from the Texarkana area for over a year and just learned of this tragedy this morning and I'm just shocked beyond words. I met Patti 2-3 years ago when I was invited to watch the Guys n Dolls rehearse. She made my husband and I feel very welcome with her sweet smile and personality. To her family and friends, please accept my condolensces on the untimely and tragic death of this sweet lady.

A beautiful lady and excellent Square and Round dancer. So willing to help, and teach new round dancers. A privilege to watch her on stage dancing while she was cueing.I considered Ray & Pattie personal friends. She will be greatly missed.

I am writing this on behalf of Patti's step-mother, Joan, we are truly shocked and saddened by the news. Patti was such a beautiful soul. She would brighten everyones day when she would come to visit Ms. Joan. Always very helpful and compassionate when it came to Joan's welfare. We all here at the golden rule will miss her to great lengths.

That smile! I will miss it! My heart is still hurting from reading that I have lost not only a friend but a patient that I really enjoyed talking to in person and on the phone. She was not only beautiful on the outside but the inside as well. If I could say one more thing to her I would want to tell her I love her and hug her once more. A lady with 100% class is what I saw in her who cared for people, the art of dancing and she loved family. I love you Patti!!!!

Patti came into the Square Dance Club the same year that I did -- as a first year student. I loved the times we had together at the club - she was always so friendly -- so cheerful --and even though from the North so completely like a Southern girl. I miss her.
