PATRICIA ARNOLD Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 8 to Feb. 9, 2013.
Patricia Lynn Arnold Patricia Lynn Arnold, age 55, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. She was born in Bristol, Tenn., where she resided all her life. She was an artist and homemaker. Patricia was of the Christian faith. Patty was a precious lady that touched the hearts and spirits of those she knew. She blessed our lives with laughter, encouragement and hope. She was a gracious, loving, understanding and patient woman who possessed a teacher's heart; she had the exceptional ability to draw the best from those who knew her. She could see to the heart of others, especially children, and could nourish and foster it. It was a gift; Patty was a gift, and she will be sorely missed. She was a true Christian; she lived her beliefs every day, walking in integrity and love, with a tender heart towards others. We know she has passed into the hands of her loving Father and is now the possessor of great peace, joy and a celebrating spirit. Her family, sons, and dearly beloved granddaughters, who were endowed with Patty's great and encompassing love, will miss her presence and life immensely. As our hearts weep for our loss, our souls celebrate Patty's victorious graduation to a much deserved and glorious eternity. We know she will be waiting with open arms, a bright smile and an exuberant welcome. She is survived by her mother, Shirley P. Arnold; sons, Joshua Arnold and wife, Danelle, and Caleb Arnold; granddaughters, Lilly Bee Arnold, and Stella Blue Arnold; sister, Deb Penix and husband, Mike; nephews, Nathan Penix and wife, Jennifer, and Danny Penix; great nephew, Haydn Penix; great niece,Sharlotte Penix; and aunt, Mary White. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Murray, minister, and Dr. Steve Hooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. A private committal will be held on Monday at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Mountain Home, Tenn. We never had the joy of meeting Mrs. Arnold but, we do know her wonderful son whom we love like our own. You have to be a great mother to raise a good child so we know she is with her Lord. Please, Caleb, know our thoughts are with you and your family. Chuck and Madelyn Novitski
