Pat was a beautiful and wonderful woman, brilliant, sweet, caring and lovely, a dear, dear friend. And she was also a superb achiever, earning her CPA certificate at a time when few women even thought of trying, and later going on to be the Chief Financial Officer a fair sized manufacturing company. It seems we've known Pat for a lifetime instead of just over 48 years. Once we all retired we spent years traveling the world together as a happy and adventuresome family. She'll always have a place in our hearts and minds! With love,

MY GRANDMA WAS ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING PEOPLE I HAVE AND WILL EVER MEET. SHE FACED CHALLENGES HEAD ON AND WAS NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK HER MIND. SHE TRAVELED ALL OVER THE WORLD AND HAD A WONDERFUL LIFE. I LOVE HER AND WILL MISS EVERYTHING ABOUT HER.

Pat and my mother, Betty Nesvold, were neighbors and enrolled in college, trading days in school so the other could take care of the kids when attending classes. Our families were very close during these times. Pat, of course, went on to her successfull CPA carreer. My mom eventually got her PHD and taught at SDSU. Her career got started because two friends got together to help each other. They were both an inspiration to me and all of our families. Pat was a trail blazer.

Pat was the loveliest person I ever met. She accepted me into her heart and family from day one. She always spoke lovingly of me and to me. I will miss her so much. I hope all of her children, especially Nancy know what a special lady you had in your lives all of these years. Pat, when I get to heaven, don't forget, you promised I could be on your Front Porch! Here's to you, Pat and your beautiful kids. Love, Tommy
