Leigh Ann, was so shock to read this about Patty. I worked with Patty for a while at Mercer While my son was there but kept in contact over the years. Had supper and got to meet her new husband while in Princeton for Travis reunion. I lost my husband in 2021 from dementia so you have my prayers for all the love and hard work into her care. She was a special lady to me . RIP Patty. My prayers are with you and the family. GOD Bless You.

May God bless Leigh Ann and family members in their time of sorrow. I will never forget the good times I had with Patty when I would come visit her as a child and young adult. I would usually see her and other family members at least twice a year. I remember when my parents and brothers were still in Texas, I would drive from South Carolina to West Virginia to see Patty and the other family members. I would usually spend the night at Pattys house. The following day we would get breakfast, go to the mall, see other family members and go to other social events. I remember having breakfast at Cracker Barrel with both Patty and Jimmy. I look forward to that day when my time here is done that I can be reunited with Patty, Jimmy and other family members that have passed away and have entered Gods heavenly kingdom. I was blessed to have both Patty and Jimmy as my aunt and uncle.

Our deepest condolences to Leigh Ann and family. So many great memories of family gatherings at Aunt Patty's house. She was always so welcoming and giving to our family. Leigh Ann, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Your mom was a touchstone for many Mercerites over the years, including two generations of my family. She was also such a blessing for Butch. Praying for your peace.

She was the secretary at Mercer School when I was a child in the 60s. I’ll always remember Ms Patty. I thought she was beautiful and so kind. My condolences to the family.
