Patricia Francis BONENFANT

Patricia Francis "Patty" Bonenfant, 81, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Bonenfant. Born on November 7, 1933 in Terryville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Francis (Vincelett) Horton. She leaves her loving children Susan Osterling, Gloria Bonenfant, James Bonenfant and his wife Jeane, Teresa Michaud and her husband Marc, Gail Bartholomew and her husband Jo, Carol Bedus and her husband Ed and Ron Bonenfant and his wife Lauren; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; along with her faithful friend and companion "Rollie" her Jack Russell Terrier. Patty was truly the matriarch of the family. Holidays and birthdays were important times as she went out of her way to make sure that her kids felt special. Patty taught her kids the life skills they would need such as cooking and cleaning along with instilling in them the values, morals, strength and structure to be successful in the world. She also taught her kids to not only be brothers and sisters to each other but close friends who could always count on each other no matter what. Her home was filled with memories, laughter and love and Patty's presence there will be truly missed. She was breast cancer survivor and loved daisies. In lieu of flower donations can be made to the breast cancer foundation in her honor. The celebration of her life will be held at the VFW 7 Nortwest Dr Plaineville, CT 06062 with calling hours from 4 to 8 on Saturday, January 24, 2015.
