Patricia A. Brueggeman

PATRICIA A. BRUEGGEMAN, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home . She was the daughter of the late William and Anna Beebe and a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. She was married in 1950 to Jack Brueggeman, who preceded her in death in 2009. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. Primarily a homemaker, she worked several years at GE, but especially enjoyed her time as the school cook at Zion. She also served on the Altar Guild and participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was devoted to the love and care of her family. Even though she suffered from Alzheimers in the latter years, she continued to share her sweet smile with others and enjoy music and dance. Surviving are her children, Rex (Lisa) of Indianapolis; Paul ( Rita) of Monroeville ,and daughter Jill ( John) Nichols of Ft. Wayne; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters; brothers Richard (Dorothy) Beebe of Frederick, MD, Michael ( Jennifer) Beebe of Auburn, IN and sister Penny ( Donald) Sechler of St. Joe, IN. She was also preceded in death by grandson, Mark Brueggeman and sister, Nancy Van Cleave. Service is 10 am Saturday June 23, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 S. Hanna St. with calling one hour prior, Pastor Douglas Punke officiating. Calling will be Friday at D.O. McComb and Son's Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.
