Patricia Lynn Simoneaux Campbell, passed away surrounded by her family on September 19, 2016 at the age of 65. She was born on July 4th, 1951 in Baton Rouge and was a 1969 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Patti, as she was more affectionately known, cherished her family and friends and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was an excellent athlete, a life-long bowler and avid sports fan, especially watching activities in which her children or grandchildren were involved. Patti started her career working at the Department of Agriculture and went on to work at Frourrier Insurance Agency for a number of years. She retired as the bookkeeper of St. Michael the Archangel High School in 2014 and most recently worked at a CPA office. Along with these jobs, Patti always worked additional jobs, most notably with bowling centers. She was always one to work and play hard, never passing up an opportunity to enjoy a good time and laugh at a good joke. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis P. Simoneaux, Jr., and her mother, Beverly Landry Simoneaux. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Jill and Jason Lamberth, Matthew and Rebecca Campbell, and Wade and Joanna Campbell; her brothers, Louis Paul III "Doody" and Rusty Simoneaux; sisters, Linda Thibodeaux and Dottie Monistere; 7 grandchildren, Morgan Lamberth, Jude Lamberth, Maxwell Lamberth, Luke Campbell, Blake Campbell, Brielle Campbell, and Betsy Campbell, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Patti was known for her feisty but fun personality, as well as her ability to get things done by always working hard. She will be truly missed by all those who knew her. The family wishes to thank all those who were there for her during her struggle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Resthaven Garden of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Our sincere condolences to all of Patty's family.

As parents of 2 students and as a volunteer for many years to BSHS/STMHS, I worked with Patty routinely... Bingo, other activities. She was acutely focused on details and doing whatever we were doing correctly and right. I last saw her at a soccer field where we were both watching grandchildren. I am so sorry to see that she has passed.

Again, my sympathies to the family.

Patti lived life to the fullest. She worked hard and played harder during the time I knew her at St. Michael. She had a great love for her children and family. She love a good joke and was always involved in the planning of one when one was planned. I pray that her family rest in the peace that God provides.

To the Simoneaux fly.I worked with Patti at Premier Lanes, both in each an office. When she needed to vent she'd come to my office pull up a chair and would go to town spilling her guts. Patti was a pleasure to be around. We clowned about our ages because she was a year older than me and would say things like yeah I might be older but I sure look dam better than you. Her and I were a lot alike. We both left Premier around the same time. I will miss her and many others will too.

The world will be a sadder place without Patti. I remember all the hilarious faculty skits Patti would come up with for Homecoming week at St. Michael. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, Patti.

I'm so sorry for the Family of Patti to hear of Her death. I know how much everyone Loved Her. I too will miss our friendship we shared on Facebook. I have known Patti since our Jr. High School Days having lived in Goodwood Homesites along with Her Family. We played together, swam together, and attended parties in the subdivision together. Patti, may You rest in peace as now You are no longer suffering. I will never forget You.

Back in the 60's I babysit the Simoneaux kids every Sunday evening. Patti being the oldest helped me with the younger ones. She was always a pleasure to be around, and always gave me a hug when I'd see her at the pool. hadn't seen her in years. Then I got a friend request on Facebook, I had to ask how she knew me, and was happy to know she rembeted me from all those years ago. I will miss you my friend, until we meet again. Prayers for all of you.
