PATRICIA CASSIDY Obituary
(née Parker)
Born in Ash, Surrey, England on April 27, 1923. Passed away April 6, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of Alfred. Devoted mother of John (Rachel) of Ottawa, ON, Bruce (Ann) of Peace River, AB, and Neil of Ottawa, ON. Cherished sister of Joan Allen (Ron) of the U.K. Proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother to 7. Pat is missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Veteran of WWII, WAAF (RAF) Radar operator. Pat came to Calgary as a war bride in May of 1946. She worked at Revenue Canada for many years. Pat was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 641, Barrhaven, The Leeds Grenville Probus Club, The May Court Club of Ottawa and of Brockville, and Chaffeys Lock Seniors. A Celebration of Pat's Life will take place on May 6, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at

"Uncle Alf", John, Bruce and Neil, and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn the loss of "Aunt Pat". We have many fond memories of our times out at the Rideau Lakes, and, of course, the childhood memories that go back to Rhonna's early childhood in Calgary. A remarkable woman loved by so many and a privilege to have shared some wonderful times together. "Aunt Pat" will never be forgotten and leaves a legacy of love with all of you. Cherish the memories.
