Services will take place at 3 p.m. May 31 at The Avalon Theatre.
Ms. Costello was a small-business owner.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Crawford of Grand Junction; one brother, Gary R. Cowan of Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to Patty Costello Donation Fund at Wells Fargo banks.

To Patty's Family,
Katherine and I are deeply saddened by Patty's departure. Hi Ashley, I (Ed)remember you well from my years in GJ as the minister at Unity. Patty meant a great deal to us--her vitality, smile, warmth, creativity, depth, and fun loving spirit-all were beautiful to experience. We still have several pictures she so elegantly framed on our walls. Ashley, we take this time to hold you, your dear children and other family members and close friends in our hearts...peace be with you,..WIth love,

Ashley, Your Mom was my tap dancing buddy and even my yoga buddy for awhile. She had a beautiful smile. We met when you were in a playpen in her shop. She will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.
