Patricia Dangler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 26, 2018.
Patricia Marie Dangler was born in Detroit, Michigan to Achille and Francesca Cafini on October 11, 1950. She was one of 3 children. Patricia passed away suddenly in her Detroit, Michigan home on November 24, 2018 at the age of 68.

"Patty" was the beloved mother of Carol Ann Dangler. Loving partner and companion of Bill Plymale for almost 15 years. Dear sister and best friend of Yvonne (Fred) Timmons. Loving aunt of Christa Dewey and Carl Cafini. Great-aunt of Brendan Dewey, Austin Dewey, Sarina Cafini and Alexis Cafini. Patty will also be missed by her faithful German Shepherd, Jesse, who laid by her side until the very last moments Patty spent in her home.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Carlyle Scott Cafini.

Patty worked as a chef at Red Lobster in Livonia for almost 11 years. She was naturally talented at cooking and was known for her fantastic holiday spreads she made for the family gatherings. She had an amazing "green thumb" and tended to beautiful gardens with ponds she created in her back yard, as well as throughout her home and basement. Patty enjoyed going to live concerts with her sister. However, she had a passion for fishing.

Patty was a hard-working, but fun-loving person with a kind and gentle heart. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

I can't say how sorry I am to hear of Patty's passing and your profound loss. Please know that my heart is with you my dear friend, Vonnie, and sweet Carol Ann. You have both had so much loss over the past few years and especially the past few months - unbelievable really. It gives me pause and forces me to assess what is important in life. May your grandfather's, father's, mother's, brother's and sisters love keep you both safe and draw you even closer to one another - like the song says, "Come together, right now, over me." God Bless You Both. Crissy
