Patricia Ellis Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Patricia C. Ellis went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 9, 2013. Services celebrating the life of Patricia Ellis will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating the service will be Gary Knighton. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street.
Patricia was born on August 20, 1943 in Coushatta, LA. She loved attending and participating in Church of Christ-North where she found tranquility among others. She was a loving mother and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Lela Cain; and seven brothers and sisters.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Robert F. Ellis; sons, Robert, Chris, and Mathew and wife Jamie Ellis; and daughter, Lela E. Robichaux and husband Tilden J.; grandchildren, Blake, Lauren, Holly , Gunnar, Ethan, and Paxton Ellis; and Trenton Robichaux.
Honoring Patricia as pallbearers will be Robert R. Ellis, Chris Ellis, Matthew Ellis, Blake Ellis, Allen Tedder and Charlie Calcote. Trenton Robichaux will be serving as an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made in her name to the Northwest Louisiana Autism Chapter.

I have known Pat since I was in the 6th grade and am now in my early 60's...I first met her in Coushatta and even though she was a bit older than I, we became great friends. She and Robert used to visit our family sometimes on Date night and my Dad gave her away at her wedding. I cannot begin to express my dismay at Pat's passing but I am certain she is with the Lord. I had the honor of being Mrs. Ellis' (better known to me as Aunt Pat) nurse, in her last days. She will be missed! She will always be Eric's Favorite Aunt!! :)

Robert and family, so sorry to hear about Pat's death. She was a true lady and loved by everyone. Her leadership in Caddo District PTA will never been forgotten. Pat, thanks for all you did for Caddo students. You will be missed.

Robert and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Pat was one of the most knowledgeable educators I have ever known, but more than that she was a kind tender soul who always worked for teachers and students. Caddo is by far better for having had Pat watch over and take care and fight the tough battles for us. A true friend always.

Dearest Robert,
Your sweet wife was my dearest friend at church. She kept me grounded, always willing to listen and talk about things going on in our lives. Her love of family (and friends) was unparalelled. We will miss her (I already do), but she will be in our hearts forever. Robert, please call us if you need us. We love you.

My Aunt Trisha will be missed greatly by me,always let me know family things,when no one else did.I remember her teaching me to drive,and letting me drive her car while she was at work.i will miss you greatly,thanks for all the wonderful times.

Pat will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She was a very giving person and never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly and took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. I feel very blessed to have been able to call her my friend.
