Patricia Ferrari (Gallicano) Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 6, 2025.
Patricia Ann "Trish" Ferrari (Gallicano), lovingly known to many as Patti, passed away on April 30, 2025, in Castro Valley, California, at the age of 74. Born on February 14, 1951, in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, Trish lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.

A proud graduate of Jefferson High School in Daly City, Trish went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State Hayward. Her professional career included working as a Billing Adjuster for the Butcher's Union. However, she often said that her most important and cherished roles were being a Mom, Sister, Aunt Patti, Nonni, and Loyal friend.

Trish was the devoted mother of Jeffrey Ramirez and Theresa Ferrari. She found immense joy in her grandchildren Riley Ramirez and Etienne Ramirez, who brought light and laughter into her life. Known affectionately as Nonni, she embraced every moment with them-whether it was cheering from the sidelines or sharing stories around the kitchen table.

Her home was always filled with warmth and celebration. A passionate cook who inherited her love for food from her father-a chef-Trish delighted in preparing meals for family gatherings and holidays. Her Italian heritage was not only evident in her cooking but also in her vibrant personality: loyal, funny, compassionate, outgoing, and full of life.

Trish had a deep love for reading and was an active member of the Valley Page Turners book club. She also shared countless laughs with her close-knit group of friends known as the "Bunco Babes," which is compiled of a group of women some of who were originally part of the CV Mother's Club and added friends from all over the area since. Whether playing Cribbage or decorating for the holidays with meticulous care and joy, Trish brought enthusiasm to everything she did.

Her Catholic faith was central to her life-not just spiritually but culturally. A dedicated member of Our Lady of Grace Church, she volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul and participated faithfully in WINGS (Women In God's Spirit), a prayer group that nurtured both her soul and community connections.

Trish loved animals, traveling to new places, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, and above all else-being surrounded by family. Her adventurous spirit and boundless compassion left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

May Patricia Ann Ferrari's memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be held on May 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 3433 Somerset Ave. We welcome you to share your memories and honor Trish's beautiful spirit with us.

Trish will always be remembered as a kind and friendly soul. There is no doubt that she will carry these same beautiful qualities with her on her next journey. As a fellow mom at Proctor, Creekside, and later CVH, our lives were continually intertwined through our children. Though she will be truly missed, we know the cherished memories of Trish will remain forever in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends.

We will miss our dear friend and neighbor of 25 years. I first met Trish while she was out walking her dog, Millie, and we bonded over our love of dogs-especially once we got our own. Over the years, we watched our daughters grow up, and shared lots of great memories, from girl scout outings to pool parties with all the neighborhood families. Even after the kids were grown, we stayed close, enjoying fun neighborhood dinners and good political discussions. Trish, you will be greatly missed.

Long time back Trish came to me as a client for massage and facials and from there we became forever friends. We had many fun times together especially in the health realm always working to keep our health and beauty. She had naturally beautiful skin, better than 1/2 her age I always told her. I will miss our conversations and fun journeys together we had. I know you will be watching and guiding your family you so deeply cared for.

My memories of my cousin Patti are of our younger years together, those memories tied us together as we grew older and lived our lives.
One story of many was on a sunny day many years ago. My neighbor Joey took me and Patti to The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, we were 7 and 10 years old respectively. We sat on the waters edge and put our feet into the then clean water. Little did we know, or Joey, that the hot asphalt stuck to our skin, our backsides were covered in tar. The neighbor took us to his house, threw us in the tub together and scrubbed us until it hurt. My mom and aunt Theresa never found out.
I will miss my cousin Patti.

my favorite thing about my Nonni is how she always made her voice heard. She was always there for me and always made sure that everyone knew that they were loved and cared for. Forever grateful that I´m related to this legend!

Going to miss the moments we got to share together. We got to laugh and cry so much those few months we got to spend with one another. So blessed for sharing those times with you. I learned more from you than I could have possibly understood at that time. Rest easy up there. Love you always, Bonnie

I met Trish through our mutual friend Colette and over the years had helped her with a couple of house situations and would run into her here and there. I also found Trish to be always pleasant and caring especially for others than herself . I wish her healing and peace that even thoughthis chapter in her life as closed anew one surrounded by the Divine grace will be with her through eterenity With Love ,

Trish was my "California Mamma", per her words. This was us at my wedding in 2016, on a trip to spring training to see her beloved Giants and my Cubs in AZ in 2014, and us just going to the Giants game. My heart is hurting and I will miss you forever. With Love! Laura
