Patricia Fogg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 12, 2017.
Patti, age 69, passed into the arms of Jesus, at home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She lost her courageous battle with breast cancer after a February 2016 diagnosis.
On October 1, 1948 in Ann Arbor, she was born Patricia Elise Allen. Her parents, Henry & Agnes welcomed Patti as their 9th child. Their family eventually expanded to 13 children. Patti graduated from St. Thomas High School in Ann Arbor and attended college at Barry University in Florida and Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Her family spent summers on Beaver Island where she met the love of her life, Michael Fogg. They married on February 15, 1969 and the pair became inseparable. They built a beautiful life together as they raised five sons in the Holland community.
Her greatest passions were her family & Jesus. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining people with her cooking & baking skills. She loved blueberries, flowers and Beaver Island. She had a gift for hospitality and generously shared her home with family and friends. Patti was a realtor for 25 years & retired from Shorewood Realty/Sunshine Properties in Holland.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry Cullen Allen and Agnes (Riordan) Allen, two brothers Tom and Joe Allen and niece Jennifer Fogg.
Her legacy lives on through her surviving family: Husband, Michael. Sons, Eric(& Renee) Fogg, Jeremy(& Abby) Fogg, Benjamin(& Sarah) Fogg, Adam(& Kristine) Fogg, Ryan(& Gretchen) Fogg. Grandchildren, Adrianne, Kevin, Joshua, Jacob, Parker, Sawyer, Miller, Archer, Lauren, Camille, Elsa, Henry, Emmett, Collin, Megan, and a large extended loving family.
There will be a ""Remembrance Open House"" hosted by the Fogg family at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Road, in Holland from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday December 9th. Everyone is welcome to join us in conversation as we remember Patti. If you have any photos that mean something special, bring them along to share.
Please no flowers, but if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation in memory of Patti, please donate to ""Right To Life of Michigan Educational Fund"" (2340 Porter Street SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49519). Patti believed wholeheartedly in pro-life.
The family will also be planning a graveside memorial on Beaver Island during the Summer of 2018. They thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support.

Dear Mike,

We are so sorry for your loss!!!! We went to Faith christian center with you all. We remember how you and your wife loved to have people over. We also remember a time when you both rode snowmobiles across lake Michigan so you could visit with us and take us for a ride. We had such a good time with you guys. After the ride we invited you to stay for homemade clam, shrimp and lobster soup. We loved and enjoyed you both so much. We pray that God will comfort you and your family during this time of loss.

I first met Patti at volleyball in the old Beechwood School. She was a good competitive player & we became friends. Wasn't long & we were playing in two different groups, & occasionally in a third. She was lots of fun, made a fantastic dip for potato chips, which she shared with me & I still have & get lots of compliments about. I will miss Patti, but I have lots of fond memories. Rest in Peace, Patti.
