Patricia Vaile Folino, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 surrounded by her family and in the care of Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Hospice at St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital.

Patricia was born on September 12, 1924 in Los Angeles California and was adopted 3 months later by James and Daisy Vaile of Corona California. She was their only child and lost both of her parents at the age of 18. She attended the University of Redlands while teaching dance and volunteering at the local USO during World War II. It was during this time she met U.S. Marine pilot Lt. Fred F. Folino of Cleveland Ohio on a blind date and fell in love at first sight. They were married on September 27, 1945 at the Mission Inn in Riverside California and moved to Cleveland once Fred was honorable discharge from the service. Fred passed away on November 19, 1999 after 54 years of marriage. Patricia went to work at age 42 after raising her 6 children. She was a medical records clerk at Vicksburg Hospital in Vicksburg MS for 15 years. After which she and Fred retired to Cochise AZ and lived there until Fred was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1995 and they moved to Camarillo.

Patricia was very active in the Camarillo United Methodist Church and many Camarillo Healthcare District support groups and services over her 20 years in this community. She was especially devoted to the Good Grief Group at CUMC after gaining great strength and support there during her years caring for and then losing Fred. She went on to mentor and support others through this group as well as other Hospice organizations in our community right up until her death.

Patricia sharp wit, warm soul and calm demeanor will be missed by all who knew her and especially her 6 children and their spouses, 20 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She is survived by her son, Ric Folino and his wife Robin of Camarillo, her daughter Diane Meek and husband Larry of Yazoo City MS, her son Mark Folino and wife Janet of Cochise AZ, her daughter Jodi Williams and husband Michael of Camarillo, her daughter Susan Demas of Sarasota FL and her son David Folino and wife Jennifer of Camarillo.

Her Family and Friends will celebrate her life in a service to be held at 1pm Sunday January 29th at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park with a remembrance luncheon to immediately follow on premises.
