Patricia Ann Garner

Patricia Garner passed away at her home in Johnson City, Tennessee on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the age of 67. She was born on April 5, 1955 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland and then to Novato, California when she was young. She lived a remarkable life. She dreamed of gaining a college degree, and came very close, but life took her in a different direction before she could graduate. She started her career as a secretary at Taylor Instruments and worked her way up to field sales becoming one of the few women in the country to achieve that position in industrial instrumentation sales and later became a regional manager. Eventually she found her way to OSIsoft where she worked her way through a variety of roles, starting in sales, then moving to manage the partner group, and then to marketing. She remained with OSIsoft until January 2022 when she retired from AVEVA as the Marketing Director - Americas, PI System. Throughout her life Patricia was surrounded by amazing mentors and received many unexpected blessings. Mindful of that, she tried to always pay her blessings forward mentoring others throughout their career and giving spontaneously and generously to those around her. She loved to travel and thanks to her job was able to explore the world, making friends all over the globe. Patricia is survived by her daughter and dear friend Katie Garner; beloved grandson Aidan Garner; sisters Peg, Reen, and Laura; brother Bob; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A funeral mass will be held in California (TBD). For those who wish to do something in her honor, please pay it as she would have OR donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Toys for Tots.
