Mom,
It's been 2 months and I can finally add something to this book. I'll never get to talk and hang out with you anymore but I sort of know what you would of said anyway so you'll always be here. I learned a lot what to do and what not to do from you. Whether you ever realized it or not, you and I are very similar. I now know more so than ever. Thanks for letting me reside inside of you for the first 9 months when I first arrived. Besides, I was too young to sign any mortgage or lease papers being a minor and I wouldn't have anywhere else to sleep. I love you Mom. Thanks for letting me be me.

Patti
Times have changed since our father's days. Remember how they used to keep in touch and load the family in a car to go visit the cousins. Through the years this fast paced world has gotten away from that. I am saddened when a cousin passes and I think how special it would have been if we all could have kept our families close. Even though we all drifted apart, be assured you will always be a part of our life through the many stories of our Dad's that we pass on to our children. Patti, the good memories will always be there. What FUN we had. What wonderful memories. The memories help, but I miss my baby sister so much. Love forever.

Grandma, the past few weeks have been rough, but I learn to pull through it because of you. I miss the memories that I still have in my mind. I feel like your still here somewhere. You taught me how to be a stronger person. I may be headstrong, but I learned it from you. "Don't go on the computer with the lights off, you'll go blind, child." You would say over and over again. It would make me laugh so hard. I REALLY miss you. I'm glad that I was blessed and gifted to have you in my life. When I look back on these days, I look and see your loving face. You were always there for me. I am glad that I had time to be with you. Remember always, I LOVE YOU.

Mom, you are in our hearts forever. I have so much to thank you for. You taught me how to be the strong capable woman that I have grown to become and you taught me to be the best mom I know how to be. Your grandaughter is just as head strong as her grandmother and I have learned to appreciate and try to develope that quality in her. I am thankful and blessed that you and I came full circle and we learned quite a lot from each other as adults. I will miss you everyday mom, and honor your wishes but know this; YOU WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND. Love ya, Shell
