Patricia Anne Haines

HAINES, Patricia Anne Pat, a Dallas native, was born April 15, 1956 and died peacefully on October 19, 2020 from the effects of Alzheimer's. A graduate of Hillcrest High School (1974) and The University of Texas at Dallas, she was a noted residential realtor, most recently with Dave Perry-Miller. She was active in the community as a volunteer with Camp Esperanza, Camp John Marc, Dallas Symphony League, the Dallas Junior League, and The Dallas Board of Realtors. Pat chaired the grand opening gala of the Meyerson Symphony Hall. She was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Altar Society. A great sister, full of humor and wit, Auntie P gave her time and love to all that came into her life. Games, plays, concerts, recitals, ceremonies, functions big and small - she was always there to make her presence felt with a smile and warmth that made you feel special. Pat passionately loved football, dinners, and any excuse to celebrate life. She was a true friend, always happiest being out and about with her family, friends, colleagues, or clients. When not in Dallas, Pat loved to travel the world whether by plane, train, ship, or elephant - her most favorite destination being Paris. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Elaine Haines, and brother, Michael. She is survived by her brother Terry, his wife Cumalee, and their children Terrell, David, and Mary Pat; sister-in-law Lisa Haines, and her children Katie Haines Eason and Daren, and Lauren Haines Tenbarge and Barrett; her uncle, Joseph P. Krist and Frost; and many cousins and dear friends. A memorial service for Pat will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75225.
