HENRIKSEN _ Patricia Barbara 1917 - 2004 Patricia "Pat" Barbara Henriksen (nee Dunningham), passed away on January 7, 2004 at the Rockyview Hospital. Pat is survived by her three sons, Martin (Robyn) of Airdrie, Richard (Pat) of Cochrane and Wayne of Calgary; and her daughter Marilyn of Calgary. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Danielle Domshy (Justin) and their children, Nathan and Katrice, Douglas Henriksen (Laurie), Heath Carra and Jessica Carra; three sisters, Eileen Borton, Cambell River, BC, Rae VanMaarion, Crossfield, and Lola (Art) Bennie, Vernon, BC; two special granddaughters-in-law, Sandi and Vicky; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1979, grandson Dean in 1998 and grandson Adrian in 2000. Pat came to Canada from England on a troop ship in 1919 and was raised in the Water Valley area. She enjoyed many things in her life, such as traveling to Alaska, England, Denmark, Australia and numerous trips to the States. She looked forward to summer when she spent many a weekend camping and boating with the family. One of her last holidays was on Thanksgiving weekend, when she went to Creston to visit her grandson Heath in his new place. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, January 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, a memorial tribute in Pat's name may be made directly to the S.P.C.A.
